If only I could do the unedited, abridged version of this interview for our paper.

George Manupelli, the founder of the Ann Arbor Film Festival sat down for an interview recently, and it was fantastic. But to have written about the following things for the Daily would have felt exploitative:

- Heavy drinking and coke use over the years.

- Hemming and hawing over the way the Festival is run now. 

- Doing blow with Father Guido Sarducci.

Oh exploitable.

But still, the dude was fanstastic.
