Sorry folks.
I know, I haven't been posting on this blog for a little while. I made an announcement for new formatting, did one post, and then vanished into the post-grad ether. But, I'm still here. I still have ideas, opinions, movie money and time on my hands. Plenty of time... So to all the people that read this blog: sorry.
To all 12 of you.
With that, I've got some big big news for CrossTheStreams. After wasting away on Twitter, Facebook and various other intellectual outlets (cough*4chan*cough), I'm back on the blog. Who's back? I'm back. Blake "King Cobra," "Bungalow," "Gap Tooth" Goble.
And not only am I back, I'm working for Janus. No, seriously. I'm the latest pitch-man for Janus's Essential Art House DVD division. What exactly do I do? Well, I get paid the big bucks to find the finest in esoteric, artistic and oh-so-obscure films for the collection. Only the most snooty and sought-after work shows up here. Kurosawa, Fellini, Pressburger, Bay — all the gods. Thanks to me of course.
But enough of my yakkin'. Let's boogy! Check out what's on the horizon:

Disclaimer: No, I don't work for Janus, or Criterion. I have the utmost respect for those home vendors. They're the greatest. So please guys, don't sue me ... or if you like my ideas, you can just hire me, or pay me for my splendidly artsy ideas. (Nervous laughter)
