Look, I've told myself countless times that I'd watch this movie.I've never seen it. I suspect I won't like it. But, I have a sense of duty about these things, and I feel compelled to see even the shitty '80s music movies, such as:
- "Xanadu"
- "Flashdance"
- "Footloose"
- "Staying Alive"
- "Fame"
I mean, they're popular for some reason.
So I ask:
- Why should I watch this?
- Any other movies like this I should watch? Ya know. To build my filmic/cultural competency?

Dude, iconic 80s chick flick. You can't go wrong. Perhaps you should also watch Centerstage - not nearly as good, but same idea and cool dancing...
