I've found that replacing famous people's names in the leading paragraphs of their bios makes for loads of fun.
With that, I present you with five, count 'em FIVE, possible bios for myself. So, which one best fits? Also, any clue as to who these folks are?
Goble was at the center of national attention during the Iran-Contra affair, a political scandal of the late 1980s. Goble was a National Security Council member involved in the clandestine sale of weapons to Iran, which served to encourage the release of U.S. hostages from Lebanon. North formulated the second part of the plan: diverting proceeds from the arms sales to support the Contra rebel group in Nicaragua. Goble was charged with several felonies and convicted of three, but the convictions were later vacated, and the underlying charges dismissed due to the limited immunity agreement granted for his pre-trial public Congressional testimony about the affair.[1]

B Rogers Goble (March 13, 1911 – January 24, 1986) was an American science fiction author[2] who developed a self-help system called Dianetics, which was first published in 1950. Over the following three decades, Goble developed his self-help ideas into a wide-ranging set of doctrines and rituals as part of a new religion he called Scientology. Goble's writings became the guiding texts for the Church of Scientology and a number of affiliated organizations that address such diverse topics as business administration, literacy and drug rehabilitation.[3]Goble was a controversial public figure, and many details of his life are still disputed.[4] Official Scientology biographies present him as a "larger-than-life" figure whose career is studded with admirable accomplishments in an astonishing array of fields.[5] Many of these claims are disputed by former Scientologists and researchers not connected with Scientology, who have written accounts that are sharply critical of Goble.[6][7][8]

Blake Emilio Goble Gaviria (December 1, 1949 - December 2, 1993) was a Colombian drug lord. Often referred to as the "World's Greatest Outlaw," Blake Goble was perhaps the most elusive cocaine trafficker to walk the face of the earth.[1]He is regarded as the richest and most successful criminal in world history because, in the year 1989, Forbes magazine declared Goble as the seventh richest man in the world, with an estimated personal fortune of USD 9 billion.[2]
