John Hughes: 1950-2009

Drag. This hit me personally, since John Hughes was pretty much my midwestern bread & butter when it came to movies growing up. Quotable, notable, and oh-so enjoyable, Hughes movies were just plain good. No A/V Club cynicism and talk of closet-conservatism here. Just John and his movies, which were all I needed sometimes.
