OK. Yes, the movie's total shit. BUT I do have a fondness for it, remembering watching it at 12/13 in a buddy's basement for Halloween. Even then I knew it was crap. I mean, we totally fast-forwarded it for the nudie bits ... and there were barely any!
So why post this on Not-Halloween?
Well, like I said: Summer camp vibes!
That, and after a couple of years and just watching a couple minutes, "Sleepaway Camp 2: Unhappy Campers" has entered the realm of films like "Troll 2" and "Dragon Wars" in my mind. It presents one of my favorite filmic conundrums: How can a film be so bad, that it's actually good?
